CAREY PREPARING FOR THE SIMPLE LIFE

MARIAH CAREY will one day pare down her entourage to lead a simple life - following advice of one of her superstar heroes.
The pop icon is constantly surrounded by aides who help with her day-to-day activities, but she once met a famous singer who warned her not to grow too accustomed to the easy life.
And she insists one day she'll heed the advice by retiring her team of assistants and taking care of herself.
She tells U.K. chatshow This Morning, "A very famous diva once told me, 'Mariah, one day you're not going to want to have all these people around you.' She was taking her own bags off of the airport carousel and I really noticed that she was in control of her own life and doing things you don't need to have all these people around you (to do) and it's true."
The Hero hitmaker has refused to name the woman who passed on the advice - but she insists she has taken her wise words to heart, adding, "Who is she? I don't want to say her name because maybe she wouldn't be happy, but she's someone I've admired my whole life."
