CAREY BUYS UP EXCLUSIVE 'BUTTERFLY' PERFUME
MARIAH CAREY spent a reported $13,200 (GBP6,600) on 12 bottles of exclusive Lalique perfume - because she loved the design. Carey, who has just launched her own scent, recently picked up a case of the limited-edition perfume, dubbed the butterfly scent because it comes in an etched crystal bottle and is adorned with a butterfly bottle stopper. A source tells In Touch Weekly magazine, "Mariah is crazy about butterflies, so she just had to have them. She thinks the scent will make her smell like a butterfly."
