CANNON WANTS CAREY TO PERFORM ON TV TALENT SHOW

NICK CANNON is hoping to make his stint hosting AMERICA'S GOT TALENT a family affair - by persuading his wife MARIAH CAREY to perform on the hit show.
The rapper/actor is set to add TV host to his resume as he takes over from Jerry Springer on the new season, which kicked off in the U.S. earlier this week (23Jun09).
And Cannon insists viewers could get a superstar thrown in with the wannabe acts - hinting his superstar partner may take to the stage as she's a huge fan of the series.
He tells MTV, "They (people) keep asking me that - I don't know. It's a possibility. She loves the show.
"She has a hot new album coming out. It's the hottest show on TV so why wouldn't that work out? So hopefully the timing works out and she does get to come represent."
