CAMERON HIT BY BAD LUCK ON HIT SHOW
Actor KIRK CAMERON was hit by a string of bad luck while starring in U.S. TV series GROWING PAINS - he had to deal with a paedophile stalker.
The former teen idol, who played Mike Seaver on the hit show, was recruited by a team of FBI agents to take part in an undercover operation to catch the crazed fan.
Cameron, now 37, had to face a host of other hardships while appearing on the series - including firing his own mother from her role as manager after his parents' separation caused an explosive rift.
He tells America's OK! magazine, "I was part of an FBI sting operation to catch a pedophile stalker who was hunting me down. Difficult things were happening in my family during my parents' separation.
"I had to fire my mother as my manager. I had my manager steal a lot of my money."
