MICHAEL CAINE hopes his wife SHAKIRA is right about life after death - because he'd like to haunt a few people.
The British movie star doesn't share his wife's belief in ghosts - but he'd happily be wrong if he can come back as a spirit.
He tells WENN, "My wife’s Indian and she’s Kashmiri, so there’s that whole spiritual thing that goes on there. I hope she’s right because it would be fun wouldn’t it?
"Something is better than nothing when we die. I’m hoping there’s an afterlife, and, as you get older, you hope even more fervently. I still feel far enough away from dying to have a few doubts. I’m sure that will tighten up as I get closer."
