CAGE KNOCKS TRAVOLTA OFF UK BOX OFFICE TOP SPOT
NICHOLAS CAGE's sci-fi thriller NEXT has knocked JOHN TRAVOLTA's comedy WILD HOGS off the top spot at the UK box office.
Wild Hogs, which also stars Tim Allen and Ray Liotta, had been number one for two weeks but could only gross GBP655,000 ($1.3 million) over the weekend (ends29Apr07), compared to Next's GBP795,000 ($1.6 million).
Sir Anthony Hopkin's thriller Fracture dropped one place to third, earning GBP577,000 ($1.2 million), while Mr Beans Holiday and Blades of Glory came fourth and fifth in a lacklustre week at the UK box office.
