BYNES' FASHION DREAMS STARTED AT EIGHT

HAIRSPRAY star AMANDA BYNES insists her fashion line isn't a new career - she's been designing dresses since the tender age of eight. The 21-year-old actress launched her bargain fashion line Dear at New York City store Steve + Barry's on Thursday (16Aug07). She tells the New York Post, "I've been drawing dresses since I was eight years old. I used to watch the Oscars and sketch dresses. If I wasn't an actress, I would have definitely gone to Parsons. I love fashion."
