Ashlee Simpson wants to make a new album but doesn't have time due to filming commitments on 'Melrose Place' and raising 10-month-old son Bronx Mowgli.

Ashlee Simpson is too busy to record another album.

The singer-and-actress - who has most recently been starring in US TV drama 'Melrose Place' - hasn't given up her music career but says she is too busy with her TV work and raising 10-month-old son Bronx Mowgli to do so in the near future.

She said: "I would like to. Right now I've got my hands full with Bronx and the show, so nothing at the moment. Whenever I get inspired by it and I'm ready to write again I will, but right now, I'm good."

Ashlee - who is married to Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz - is amazed by how fast her son is developing and loves listening to him chat about his favourite TV show, cartoon series 'Spongebob Squarepants'.

She added: "He's developing every week and couldn't be better, couldn't be healthier. He's silly! He's always laughing at himself and making new noises. He loves to say, 'Bob,' for Spongebob! Everything's 'Bob' right now."
