BURTON WINS CASE AGAINST EX

LATEST: Moviemaker TIM BURTON's long-running dispute with ex-girlfriend LISA MARIE has been thrown out of court.
Lisa Marie sued the director claiming he owed her money he had promised her during their relationship.
The pair dated for nearly a decade and the director included her in several of his projects before they split in 2001.
Officials at the California Court of Appeal dismissed the palimony lawsuit in August (08), and now Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Teresa Sanchez-Gordon has ruled in Burton's favour.
During a hearing on 16 September (08), Sanchez-Gordon stated that Lisa Marie did not present a valid case.
Burton has been dating British actress Helena Bonham Carter since 2001. They have two children.
