BURROWS JOINS NEW YORK ROCKERS

Former RAZORLIGHT drummer ANDY BURROWS has returned to music, joining New York-based rockers WE ARE SCIENTISTS.
Burrows quit the British band earlier this year (09) after falling out with frontman Johnny Borrell.
After a six month break he has been recruited to join We Are Scientists for their third album, replacing departing drummer Adam Aaronson.
'Scientist' Keith Murray tells NME.com, "We were thinking for this record that we'd collect all our drummer friends and have different guys do different songs. Andy was one of those guys but after he left Razorlight we got together, fell in love and decided to make a record."
In addition to his new role, Burrows is also working on a solo album, a follow-up to his low-key debut Colours of my Mind.
He reveals, "There was no plan from me to go solo. I've always been comfortable behind the drums, but I've always written songs too and I had a bunch sitting around, and it dawned on me once I'd left Razorlight I had enough for an album."
