BURKE RECOVERS FROM MYSTERY HEALTH SCARE

DANCING WITH THE STARS double champion CHERYL BURKE is back on her feet - after a crippling bout of abdominal pains forced her to pull out of the opening night of the show's tour. The 23-year-old missed the first two dates in America's Dancing With The Stars tour, after being taken ill during the show's dress rehearsal on Tuesday (18Dec07) complaining of agonising lower stomach cramps. Burke was rushed to a Seattle hospital, where she was treated and discharged the following day. The mystery illness caused her to sit out on two shows - Tuesday (18Dec07) in Seattle, Washington, and Thursday (20Dec07) in Sacramento, California. However the star's publicist says she's now on the mend, and will be joining the cast on stage in San Jose, California, on Friday (21Dec07). This is the third consecutive tour for Burke, who is dancing on the road with her season two partner Drew Lachey.
