THE CHARLATANS frontman TIM BURGESS has had to pay for a new set of front teeth - after knocking out his own with a microphone.
The rocker, 41, was forced to fly to Hollywood to see a specialist dentist after years of bashing his face onstage wore down his smile.
He says, "My front two teeth are false ones. I have a habit of smacking my face with the mic when I'm singing.
"I can't seem to help it and I ended up wearing my two front teeth right down to nothing.
"I ended up going to Hollywood to get them done."
