BUNDCHEN ADAPTS SWIFTLY TO STEPMOTHER ROLE

Supermodel GISELE BUNDCHEN has adapted quickly to becoming a stepmother - insisting new husband TOM BRADY's son with actress BRIDGET MOYNAHAN is "100 per cent" her child.
The Brazilian beauty has been dating Brady since the American football star split from ex-girlfriend Moynahan in 2006. The actress discovered she was pregnant with their child, 17-month-old John Edward Thomas Moynahan, weeks after the break-up.
But Bundchen is so close to the boy, she considers him her own.
She tells America's Vanity Fair magazine, "I want him to have a great relationship with his mum, because that's important, but I love him the same way as if he were mine. I already feel like he's my son, from the first day. When we are in L.A. (Los Angeles), we have Johnny 50 per cent of the time. He's a little angel - the sweetest, most cuddly, loving baby. I feel blessed to have him in my life.
"I understand that he has a mum, and I respect that. But to me, it's not like because somebody else delivered him, that's not my child - I feel it is, 100 per cent."
But the Victoria's Secret model admits she was stunned when she first heard Brady's ex was expecting a baby out of wedlock.
She adds, "It was definitely a surprise for both of us. In the beginning, you're living this romantic fantasy; you're thinking this can't be true, it's so good! And then, whoops - wake-up call! He's Catholic. His parents have been married 40 years."
Bundchen and Brady wed in Santa Monica, California in a small Catholic ceremony on 26 February (09).
