Reports that BRAD PITT will play JEFF BUCKLEY in an upcoming biopic have been rubbished by the singer's mother MARY GUIBERT. Guibert is working on upcoming movie MYSTERY WHITE BOY herself, as she fears Hollywood would not do the story of Buckley's life justice. And although she denies speculation that Pitt will star in the film, Guibert would love to have the TROY star involved in the making of the movie, which is set to be released in 2008. Guibert says, "Brad has never actually wanted to play Jeff, he found all those tabloid stories very funny. "All he wanted to do was help produce a project that would have been close to his heart. Brad is still on a list of people we would love to have work with us."
