BUBLE LANDS HALL OF FAME HONOUR
Canadian singer MICHAEL BUBLE is to be honoured by officials in his native province of British Columbia - he will be inducted into the B.C. Entertainment Hall of Fame.
The award acknowledges British Columbians who have made an outstanding contribution to the entertainment industry both in Canada and internationally.
Buble is one of ten acts who will be entered into the Hall of Fame for 2009, including Terry MCBride - the founder of Nettwerk Music Group, the record label which represents Sarah MCLachlan and the Barenaked Ladies.
The stars will be given plaques along the sidewalk on Vancouver's Granville Street, which will be unveiled on 19 April (09).
