BRUNI'S SALES BOOST AFTER LATER DATE WITH JOOLS

Model-turned-pop star CARLA BRUNI's album sales have rocketed since she appeared alongside METALLICA on U.K. music show LATER... WITH JOOLS HOLLAND.
France's first lady sang tracks from her latest album Comme Si De Rien N'était on the BBC 2 show on Tuesday (16 Sep08).
And the Italian beauty has bowled over British music fans, with a dramatic increase in sales in the U.K. since her performance - her first ever in the U.K.
A spokesman for music retailer HMV tells The Sun newspaper, "Our store managers say they have been seeing a lot more people coming in asking about her album."
The representative also confirmed Internet sales of Bruni's LP have shot up since the show.
