BRUNI DENIES SARKOZY WEDDING REPORTS

LATEST: Former supermodel CARLA BRUNI has denied she secretly married her fiance French President NICOLAS SARKOZY. The couple is alleged to have exchanged vows in a low key ceremony in Paris last week (10Jan08), just days after Sarkozy, 52, confirmed reports he and Bruni were engaged. However, the 40-year-old beauty, who is reported to be pregnant with the pair's first child together, told French publication Liberation that the two are "not yet married" but "it is in our plans". The pair announced their intentions to marry after dating for less than two months, with Sarkozy hinting news of the ceremony will be kept under wraps until after it has taken place. Sarkozy has three children from two previous marriages, while Bruni - who has had romances with Mick Jagger and Eric Clapton - also has a six-year-old son from a past relationship.
