BROWN TO FOLLOW BLAIR INTO THE SIMPSONS

British Prime Minister GORDON BROWN looks set to follow in his predecessor TONY BLAIR'S footsteps once more - by appearing in THE SIMPSONS. Blair taped his voiceover for the hit animated series in April 2003. In the episode, he meets the Simpson family at London's Heathrow Airport and invites them for tea at his official residence, 10 Downing Street. Brown has not confirmed whether he will be using his own voice for the appearance. Yeardley Smith - who plays Lisa Simpson - says, "It would be great if he did it. Tony Blair was great fun. Let's face it, Gordon could be around for a long time too."
