BROOKS IS BEX'S MUSICAL INSPIRATION

Former DANITY KANE singer SHANNON BEX has abandoned her R&B/pop roots and turned to country star GARTH BROOKS for inspiration as she starts work on her debut solo album.
The blonde beauty has been keeping a low profile since quitting rap mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs' girl group earlier this year (09).
But she's heading back into the studio to record some new tunes - and she's drawing ideas from an unlikely musical hero.
She says, "I'm just working on kind of finding my solo sound. I've been with a group for an amazing five years, and you know, it kind of happens, things move on. I want to do it right, though. I'm not jumping into anything.
"(Brooks) is such an honest performer. I went to his concert for the first time ever, and... it felt like he was performing right to me."
