BRODY'S 'ADRIAN' EMBARRASSMENT IN FRONT OF SHIRE

ADRIEN BRODY was left red-faced at THE DARJEELING LIMITED's world premiere last month (Sep07) - when photographers calling his name actually wanted to take pictures of TALIA SHIRE. Shire, who plays Sylvester Stallone's homely wife Adrian in the Rocky movies, is used to people shouting out her best-known character's name and immediately understood the snappers at the Venice Film Festival were calling for her. But Brody didn't realise people regularly call Shire, the mother of his The Darjeeling Limited co-star Jason Schwartzman, 'Adrian'. Schwartzman says, "We were walking together on the red carpet where all the people take your picture and they yelled, 'Adrian! Adrian!' And Adrien Brody started to walk towards them. "And my mom grabbed him and said, 'Not you. Me.' She was joking and he laughed and it was a very funny moment."
