Britney Spears' mother Lynn is delighted the singer has rekindled her romance with Jason Trawick as she thinks the pair are prefect together.

Britney Spears' boyfriend would be a "dream husband", says the star's mother.

The '3' singer's recently rekindled romance with manager Jason Trawick has thrilled Lynne Spears, who is convinced 37-year-old Jason is the perfect man for her daughter.

A source revealed: "Lynne said, 'He's the kind of man you would dream of your daughter marrying. The kids love him, and he's stable.' "

Lynne is pleased Britney, 27 - who has two sons, four-year-old Sean Preston and Jayden James, three, with ex-husband Kevin Federline - has found a guy who was willing to stick by her through her public meltdown in 2008 which led to her losing custody of her kids.

The source added to US Weekly magazine: "Almost everyone else abandoned her, but Jason refused to be completely cut out of Britney's life. He's very protective of her.

"She has been honest with Jason about what she's been through in a way that I don't think she's been with other people, and he always preferred to not sugarcoat the harsh reality of what happened to her. He tells her when she should take responsibility for her own actions."
