Britney Spears has reportedly fired her long-time manager for failing to get her career back on track.

According to the New York Post's Page Six magazine, the troubled pop star even blames Larry Rudolph for the fall out from her much reported recent nights out Paris Hilton because he introduced her to the hotel heiress.

But according to the magazine, which claims that Britney is now taking regular dance classes in a bid to find her way back into the limelight, the 25-year-old star may now face legal action after breaking her contract with Rudolph.

Meanwhile the 25-year-old, who has been in and out of rehab in recent times, also appears to have lost more than her image to on-off friend Paris.

Reports claim that Britney's former nanny and security guard Perry Taylor is now working for the rich socialite.

But a source told Life and Style magazine that the 29 year-old US naval academy graduate had actually worked for Paris first.

"He was Paris' security guard on the first two seasons of The Simple Life, in 2003 and 2004," the source said.

"She still uses him from time to time as a private security guard."
