BRITISH ROCKERS TO PLAY FOR THE HOMELESS
British rockers SUPERGRASS, ATHLETE and CARL BARAT have agreed to perform by the River Thames in London tomorrow (15NOV06) to raise money for homeless people. HAPPY MONDAYS dancer BEZ will join the other acts outside the Design Museum on London's south bank, where passersby will be able to show their appreciation by buying Crisis Christmas puddings. One hundred of the puddings will contain a 'sixpence' which will grant entry to an intimate concert in January (07) featuring Supergrass, Athlete, GRAHAM COXON and ED HARCOURT. All money raised will go towards supplying homeless people with a Christmas dinner next month (DEC06) and a full medical check-up.
