BRITISH GUITAR SUPERGROUP MAKES DEBUT PERFORMANCE

A British guitar supergroup comprising of members from THE LIBERTINES, KLAXONS and THE CHARLATANS made their performance debut last night (18Jun07). The Chavs played a five-song set at London's Cuckoo Club during which they rotated their collective bandmembers, including The Libertine's Carl Barat and Gary Powell, Jamie Reynolds and Steffan Halperin of the Klaxons and The Charlatans frontman Tim Burgess. The group played a selection of songs from each others' bands, as well as a cover of The Rolling Stones classic You Can't Always Get What You Want to an approving crowd.
