BRITISH ACTOR DENNIS DIES

British actor PETER DENNIS has lost his battle with cancer, aged 75.
The star died on 18 April (09) in his Los Angeles home. No further details of his death have been released as WENN went to press.
Dennis toured Europe and the U.S. for decades with his one-man show Bother! The Brain of Pooh, a series of readings from children's storybook Winnie-the-Pooh and other classics by author A.A. Milne.
He made a move to Los Angeles in 1991 after turning to acting at the age of 30, and landed small roles in movies including animated film Shrek in 2001 and 2004 drama Sideways.
Dennis also made several appearances on the small screen, with roles in U.S. sitcom Seinfeld and TV drama Alias, starring Jennifer Garner. He was most recently seen in a guest role in the final episode of hospital drama ER, which aired in the U.S. on 2 April (09).
