BRINKLEY OUT FOR REVENGE, SAYS COOK'S LAWYER

LATEST: CHRISTIE BRINKLEY's estranged husband PETER COOK's lawyer took a bitter swipe at the former supermodel on Thursday (03Jul08) - insisting she is out for "revenge".
Cook's lawyer Norman Sheresky spoke out against Brinkley after she took to the stand at a New York court on Thursday to give her testimony in the ongoing divorce trial.
Sheresky claimed the 54-year-old, who fought back tears as she recalled the pain of learning of Cook's affair with an 18-year-old assistant, was simply out to punish her cheating husband.
According to People.com, he told reporters, "I think it's pretty clear she's doing this out of revenge... during the custody case you're going to find out how angry she was.
"There's an independent doctor who was appointed in this case. He said she was blinkered by anger."
During the dramatic divorce proceedings, Brinkley's 20-year-old daughter has accused Cook of once forcing her to clean up a water leak naked - claiming her stepfather even pushed her head into the water.
Cook has denied the allegations.
Brinkley also claimed he was "suicidal" after she discovered details of his affair.
The trial is due to continue on Monday (07Jul08).
