BREAK-UP STAR CELEBRATES BIRTH

THE BREAK-UP star JOHN MICHAEL HIGGINS is celebrating after his wife MARGARET WELSH gave birth to their first child. Welsh, who recently appeared in episodes of BOSTON LEGAL and GREY'S ANATOMY, welcomed baby boy WALTER LLOYD HIGGINS into the world on Tuesday morning (29AUG06) at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. His representative JEFF RAYMOND says, "Parents and baby are doing well." The tot weighed in at eight pounds, 2 ounces (3.7 kilograms). Higgins played JENNIFER ANISTON's brother in The Break-Up and has just finished filming BRUCE ALMIGHTY sequel EVAN ALMIGHTY with STEVE CARELL.
