BRANDY TERRIFIED BY CO-HOSTING THE VIEW

LATEST: Singer/actress BRANDY was terrified by the prospect of stepping in as a co-host on US talk show THE VIEW, because of all the attention the programme has received since the controversial departure of presenter STAR JONES REYNOLDS. Brandy, real name BRANDY NORWOOD, feared there might be some lingering tension on the show after Jones Reynolds abruptly quit live on air last month (JUN06), but she was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. The former MOESHA star explains, "It wasn't awkward at all! I was a little nervous in the beginning, but once I started going, it came easy. I had a good time." The 27-year-old is making a strong comeback after the birth of her child SY'RAI four years ago (02). In addition to her two guest stints on The View, she is also a judge on hit reality show AMERICA'S GOT TALENT and is recording her first CD in two years. She adds, "When you've been out of the business for so long, you learn to appreciate it when you get back in!"
