Late screen legend MARLON BRANDO secretly taped meetings with friends, in which he encouraged them to reveal personal details, according to a long-term pal. The GODFATHER star's pal and former make-up man PHILIP RHODES recalls how the increasingly paranoid actor installed a monitoring system in his fortress-like house, enabling him to record all telephone calls and eavesdrop on conversations in every room. Rhodes says, "He'd always say, 'How's your sex life? You getting any on the side?' "He had all these people talking about their sex life and it was all recorded."
