BRAGG GIVES RACISM LECTURE AT FORMER SCHOOL

British rocker BILLY BRAGG visited his former school on Tuesday (09Oct07) to launch the latest Love Music Hate Racism campaign. The politically outspoken singer/songwriter talked to schoolchildren at Barking Abbey in England about racism and music - and even encouraged them to stage their own anti-racism concerts. He said, "No-one can tell me what music I can listen to, and who should and shouldn't be able to get up on stage and sing, rap or play guitar. "Today's fascists are still peddling their big lie about immigration and playing on people's fears."
