SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE director DANNY BOYLE is in mourning after his uncle collapsed and died in the street.
Tommy Boyle, 81, had a heart attack as he left an Easter church service at St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Bury, England earlier this month (Apr09).
The Oscar-award winner was left devastated at his sudden death and headed to Radcliffe, England for the funeral on Friday (24Apr09).
His twin sister Maria says, "Tommy had a heart attack in the street. Danny travelled up for the funeral. That's why we're all here together. It's very sad."
