BOY GEORGE INSPIRED BY WINEHOUSE

Shamed singer BOY GEORGE penned a track about AMY WINEHOUSE while he was in prison earlier this year (09).
The former Culture Club frontman, real name George O'Dowd, was jailed in January (09) for the false imprisonment and assault of male escort Audun Carlsen in 2007.
He served just four months of his 15 month sentence and was released in May (09) for good behaviour - but he spent his time behind bars working on new music.
And O'Dowd reveals he was inspired by troubled singer Winehouse when he was writing new song Your Pain Makes A Beautiful Sound.
He tells Britain's The Times newspaper, "When I was away (in prison), I wrote a lot of stuff, which will be released next year. I wrote a diary and songs. I got into trouble because I wrote on the wall: 'Some things are past understanding, you just need a place to land.'
"It was part of a lyric. I actually wrote a song about Amy when I was in prison."
