BOY GEORGE FURIOUS AFTER AIRLINE LOSES RECORD COLLECTION

Former CULTURE CLUB lead singer BOY GEORGE was furious after landing in Australia for a celebrity DJ gig only to find out the airline had lost his prized record collection. The star arrived in Brisbane on Saturday afternoon (24FEB07) from Auckland, New Zealand and was informed that his record collection had failed to arrive along with him. The singer was in town to DJ at new club The Met and was livid when customs officials admitted his valuable albums had been left behind in New Zealand. The furious 45-year-old was overheard telling officials, "You've got to be joking!" when the blunder was revealed. According to Sydney's Daily Telegraph, the panicked star made an emergency dash to a local record store, where he quickly bought up enough material to get through his gig.
