BOWIE GIRL GETS DAMAGES OVER 'RAPE PICTURES' CLAIM

The daughter of DAVID BOWIE's ex-wife has won $80,000 (GBP52,000) from the city of New York and a cop after allegations she was photographed naked during a rape investigation.
Stacia Lipka, the half-sister of Bowie's son Duncan, alleged that a New York police officer violated her rights by taking pictures of her when she was on suicide watch in hospital following an alleged sex attack in 2003, as another officer stood nearby.
The cop Lipka accused - Detective Richard Vecchio - was later cleared of criminal charges arising from the complaint.
But Lipka pursued a lawsuit against city chiefs, Vecchio, and his partner John Holbert, which has now reportedly been settled at $80,000.
The New York Post reports Lipka will receive $77,500 (GBP50,000) from the city of New York and $2,500 (GBP1,600) from Holbert.
Bowie was married to Lipka's mother Angela for eight years in the 1970s but they later divorced. She gave birth to Lipka in 1980.
