BOW WOW BEATS THE RECESSION WITH THRIFTY PLANS

Rapper/actor BOW WOW has a recession-busting plan to save himself and his fans a lot of cash - he's refusing to pay more than $20 (£13.80) for his trademark T-shirts and he's designing a budget sneaker line.
The hip-hop hero, real name Shad Moss, is set to buck the trend of rap stars designing expensive footwear with his Vroom 1 basketball shoe.
He tells Giant magazine, "I'm targeting it to the youth. It's affordable for the kids and families that can't afford the more popular things out there right now."
And he's also trimming his own spending: "I dress like a skateboarder bum... My shirts cost $20."
