BORLAND SLAMS DURST AND DISMISSES LIMP BIZKIT REUNION
Former LIMP BIZKIT rocker WES BORLAND has ruled out rejoining his reuniting bandmates, because he's having too much fun with his new group.
The guitarist's two turbulent stints in the band ended in 2004.
Borland's departure sparked a long hiatus for the Rollin' rockers, which came to an end late in 2008 when frontman Fred Durst revealed they have reunited to start recording a new album.
Borland - currently performing with new group Black Light Burns - has resisted talk of reuniting with his old bandmates.
And in a new interview with MLive.com, he insists he prefers the freedom he gets with his current band - and takes a swipe at Durst's songwriting skills.
Borland says, "I have no plans on working with Limp again. It's better for me, for sure. I'm having a great time doing (Black Light Burns). I can write a song and know what it's about and tailor the music about the intensity of the vocals. It all makes sense together, instead of random lyrics on top of music that sounds cool. It makes more sense."
