BONO FINALLY SELLS NEW YORK HOME
U2 rocker BONO has finally sold his New York apartment for $4.9 million (GBP2.45 million), three years after first putting it on the market.
The singer and his wife Ali moved out of the pad on Central Park West in 2005, after upgrading to a $14.9 million (GBP7.45 million) home in an apartment block on the same street.
But it has taken him longer to find a buyer to snap up the 16th floor home they paid $3.4 million (GBP1.7 million) for in 2001.
They finally found a buyer after dropping the price from $5.5 million (GBP2.75 million) to $4.9 million, reports the New York Post.
