BONE THUGS-N-HARMONY SUED AFTER AXING GIG
Newly reformed rap group BONE THUGS-N-HARMONY is facing a $280,000 (GBP189,000) lawsuit from bosses at a minor-league baseball team, who claim the hip-hoppers pulled out of a concert at the last minute.
According to court papers, the group agreed to play a concert in Washington State last year (07) for the Jazz of Tacoma, a minor-league team.
But they backed out, leaving organisers reeling.
The lawsuit, filed on 24 November (08), alleges, "The plaintiffs performed its obligation under the contract, including sending advance monies to the defendants.
The defendants breached the agreement by failing to show up and perform as was agreed to in the contract... neither cancelled the engagement or returned any monies paid under the contract."
