BOND SET BEING REBUILT

LATEST: The fire-ravaged set of JAMES BOND film CASINO ROYALE is currently being rebuilt, according to the Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, England. The Bond sound stage was destroyed by a mystery blaze that broke out in July (06). Planning permission for a brand new stage has been approved and work will be completed by early 2007. It is the second time the stage, originally built for the 1977 Bond film THE SPY WHO LOVED ME, has been destroyed by fire. It was rebuilt following a blaze in 1984 which left six people needing treatment for burns, smoke inhalation and shock. No one was hurt in the more recent inferno.
