BOND GIRL BEATS BREAST CANCER

Former BOND girl PAULA THOMAS is celebrating after surviving breast cancer.
The British-born model and actress-turned-designer was diagnosed in September (08) after finding a lump in her right breast.
She had a biopsy on the eve of a three-week trip to Paris, France, where she was promoting her Thomas Wylde clothing collection, and had to wait until she returned to her adopted Los Angeles to find out if she had cancer.
The 42-year-old View To A Kill star says, "Within two days they called and told me I had cancer."
Thomas, who is currently cancer free, shot a personal documentary of her "experience" with the disease, and she's now glad she discovered the lump early - because she got to keep her breast.
She tells publication Malibu Magazine, "I was given the opportunity to do a lumpectomy and was able to keep my breasts."
And battling cancer has made the model/actress a better person: "It was a blessing in disguise as it made me even more thankful for everything that I have and everything that I do because all of a sudden you realise how quickly it can be taken away from you."
