BON JOVI rocker DAVID BRYAN can now add Broadway aficionado to his impressive resume - the keyboard player has written a musical to debut on the New York stage this year (09).
Bryan wrote the music and lyrics for Memphis, based on Joe DiPietro's book about a white DJ playing black music in Tennessee in the 1950s.
The musical debuted at California's La Jolla Playhouse last year, before moving to Seattle, Washington this year - and will settle at Broadway's Shubert Theater in the autumn (09).
