BOCELLI TO PERFORM AT CRUISE-HOLMES WEDDING

Italian tenor ANDREA BOCELLI will reportedly perform at TOM CRUISE and KATIE HOLMES wedding next weekend (17-19NOV06). The blind opera star has confirmed to friends he will attend and sing at the event, reportedly due to take place at the Castello Odescalchi in Bracciano, near Rome. A friend of Bocelli says, "They asked him to sing because Katie particularly likes AVE MARIA. It will give the ceremony a Catholic religious element, which is important to her." Scientologist Cruise and Catholic Holmes have kept tight-lipped about their wedding plans, confirming only the big day will take place in Italy next weekend.
