BLUR'S NEW JAMS
Alex James has revealed he and his Blur bandmates have been ''jamming'' with new material, but have no definite plans to release new songs.
Blur are experimenting with new material.
The reformed 'Parklife' hitmakers have previously insisted they are not planning to support their current reunion tour with new songs but bassist Alex James admits they have been jamming together as well as rehearsing old material.
He said: "Damon Albarn will be jangling along with some chords and I'll start banging along and Graham will join in. Our musical cup overflow-eth at the moment. It's all good."
However, guitarist Graham Coxon insisted the band haven't completed any songs yet.
He added to BBC 6 Music: "I don't think it's hard to make music that isn't the old songs.
"I think it's actually giving it time and doing justice to it really. We wouldn't want to just sling stuff together to play this summer. It wouldn't be right.
"We really don't want to put ourselves under any pressure. I think we want to have fun with these shows and then we'll think about that really."
