BLUR TRIUMPH AT GLASTONBURY

Reunited British rockers BLUR completed their comeback with a stunning performance to close the U.K.'s legendary GLASTONBURY festival on Sunday night (28Jun09).
The Britpop pioneers announced their return to the music scene in December (08), after a six-year hiatus.
They played a string of intimate warm-up shows earlier this month (Jun09) - and sealed their return to the top with a crowd-pleasing headline slot at Glastonbury on Sunday.
Singer Damon Albarn was mobbed by snappers and festival-goers at the start of the band's set when he leaped into the pit in front of the stage.
He later led the crowd on a singalong to Blur's 1999 hit Tender and closing song The Universal.
BBC presenter Jo Whiley said, "It's got to be one of the greatest gigs of their career, surely. What a moment. I'm privileged to have been here and had the joy of watching that."
Blur are due to play two huge outdoor gigs at London's Hyde Park next month (Jul09).
