BLUR STARS TALK REUNION OVER LUNCH

BLUR are one step closer to reforming after bassist ALEX JAMES and drummer DAVE ROWNTREE met for lunch to discuss plans for a reunion While James admits the band - including guitarist Graham Coxon, who quit in 2002 - are raring to go, he cautions that the four-piece may not be releasing an album of new material any time soon. Writing on his blog for U.K. newspaper The Independent, James says, "Rowntree was on good form. We looked forward to the four members of Blur sitting round a table for lunch for the first time in a long time." He adds, "Rumours of another Blur record are greatly exaggerated. But that lunch happened. It was just lunch - there are no immediate plans to go into the studio."
