BLUR REHEARSALS 'GOING WELL'

Preparations for BLUR'S comeback gigs are going well, according to guitarist GRAHAM COXON.

Speaking to Uncut, he revealed that while he has not seen his bandmates for a couple of weeks, when they do get together things seem to be moving along.

"It's ever such a laugh when we're rehearsing. Some of the songs are just like they were – other ones are like a revelation," he said.

Rehearsals for the dates at Hyde Park and Glastonbury have so far consisted of "getting together casually and running through albums", he added.

Coxon also revealed that he spilt with his last record label EMI because of disagreements about artwork on his solo albums.

His forthcoming record, The Spinning Top, will now be released on independent label Transgressive.

COXON was a founder member of Blur, performing on hits including PARKLIFE, but left the band under acrimonious circumstances before the release of THINK TANK in 2003.
