BLUNT'S SONGWRITER IS NAMED LABEL PRESIDENT

The songwriter who co-wrote JAMES BLUNT's hit track YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL has been named president of music label Epic Records. Amanda Ghost has landed the top job at the U.S. company, owned by Sony, which boasts an impressive roster of artists including Pearl Jam, Good Charlotte, Franz Ferdinand and Modest Mouse.
Ghost has previously written tracks for Latina pop sensation Shakira and American Idol winner Jordin Sparks.
