BLUNT'S FATHER DELIGHTED WITH ENGAGEMENT

EMILY BLUNT's father has praised his daughter for picking such a "lovely, bright" fiance - insisting the whole family is delighted about her engagement to JOHN KRASINSKI.
The Devil Wears Prada star announced last week (beg24Aug09) that she had agreed to walk down the aisle with The Office actor after less than a year of dating.
And Blunt's lawyer dad, Oliver, has dismissed rumours her family are concerned about how quickly the relationship has progressed.
He says, "We are very happy for her. He is a lovely guy, very bright and a great companion for Emily. We have met him, of course."
Blunt split from Canadian singer Michael Buble in July last year (08) - just four months before she found love with Krasinski.
