English singer/songwriter JAMES BLUNT's hit GOODBYE MY LOVER is the most popular song at funerals, according to a new poll. The star's third single was the most requested track at funerals in the UK last year (05), overtaking previous favourite, ROBBIE WILLIAMS' 1997 ballad ANGELS. Other tracks on the list by the Bereavement Register including BILL MEDLEY and JENNIFER WARNES' I'VE HAD THE TIME OF MY LIFE, BETTE MIDLER's WIND BENEATH MY WINGS and PIE JESU REQUIEM.
