BLUNT TO STAR AS QUEEN VICTORIA

British actress EMILY BLUNT will star as QUEEN VICTORIA in an upcoming biopic produced by Academy Award-winning director MARTIN SCORSESE. Blunt - who shot to fame with her performance in THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA - will play the young British monarch in a film which will focus on Victoria's early years as queen and her romance with PRINCE ALBERT. GRAHAM KING, who is producing the film with Scorsese, says, "We think she is perfect to play this feisty, passionate young woman who went on to have nine children with the love of her life, Prince Albert." British royal SARAH FERGUSON, THE DUCHESS OF YORK will be a co-producer on the project.
